Garrick

Ok so I’ve been giving Cara’s hubby Garrick a bit more attention, as Cara is on leave with baby Relic he’s the only one doing anything exciting right now! As you should know (if you’ve been reading my blog that is) Garrick joined the military career path. He started off at the bottom as they do as a Latrine Cleaner and was promoted to:

  • Mess Hall Server (Working 07:00 – 15:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays @ S44 an hour)

He was trained by Cara and just kept generally happy and was promoted again pretty quickly to:

  • Grunt (real nice) and is now actually doing proper military stuff – like drills and being checked on by Generals. He works the same hours and days but is paid S49 an hour.

He’s looking a bit more manly now – starting to see why Cara hooked up with him behind my back…

A Relic *insert mysterious chiming sound here*

Cara Loft went into labour this afternoon, her husband Garrick freaked out for a bit and then picked up a book and ignored her! I had to force him to take her to Hospital – she was already out the front door and on her way by the looks of things!

Family

Welcome to the world baby boy Relic – that’s right – Loft, Relic Loft. But what are the chances that a baby boy born to potentially legendary parents ( an International Super Spy/ Uber Gem & Rock collector Mom and Military Dad) should be born with the traits:

  • Couch Potato
  • Heavy Sleeper

SERIOUSLY!?

I’ve let the family run on its own for a little while and Cara doesn’t seem to be enjoying being a mother too much – I swear I saw her role her eyes at Relic at one point – also she’s still on paid leave but she’s not doing much but working out like crazy! Don’t you just love the motherly look on her face (he’d just woken her up)….sigh…

Womb Raider – Say What!?

So I left Cara to her own devices for a couple of hours only to find out she’s gone and got herself pregnant! So I did some investigating and she was going steady with a young Garrick. So I called the trouble maker over and Cara got down on one knee and proposed – the right thing to do of course. You don’t just go around getting super spies pregnant and not doing anything about it! So Cara was man enough for the both of them! And we welcome to the game Garrick:

Proposal

  • Flirty (which explains alot)
  • Brave (Phew!)
  • Neat (cant hurt)
  • Kleptomaniac (which I think is particularly fitting for my Tomb Raider – ha ha)

Garrick obviously took Cara’s name – that’s right – Loft, Garrick Loft.

He was unemployed (what a loser) and had no skills – so he found a job in the Military career path (of course) and Cara has been having great fun training him in her pregnant state!

International Super Spy Cara Loft

Cara is officially an International Super Spy, having to answer to no one!

Her stats currently are:

  • Logic – 7
  • Athletic – 9 (going on 10)
  • Charisma – 6
  • Cooking – 5
  • Fishing – 2
  • Writing – 8
  • Handiness – 4

She now earns S484 per hour, works 09:00 – 13:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.

With her lifetime achievement status she was able to purchase the lifetime reward of a ‘Collection Helper’ (I thought this was most appropriate for a potential Tomb Raider) and she’s now able to locate gems & rocks, insects etc by using the map) Cara’s also met some guy, he’s athletic and ambitious and that’s about all she knows – they made out and flirted a little and are now ‘going steady’ but she doesn’t seem to be too worried about being with him.

The many faces of the Triple Agent…

The mysterious job description of Triple Agent came with many disguises which I enjoyed – some days she looked like a biker chick and the next like a librarian, and no not that kind of librarian. Something I really love that I havent yet mentioned is that no matter what outfit she’s wearing she always has her gloves on – and usually the glasses too. Quite a nice little feature I thought – if those criminals were more observant they might have seen her coming! She accepted the challenge of deactivating a bomb at the criminal headquarters – which saved ‘a small nation’ and not long after that she was promoted at long last to INTERNATIONAL SPY! Congratulations Cara!
